The Trevarno 'Winter Wonderland' festival from December 17th to 21st saw the first passenger carrying trains on the branch since 1962. While previously some footplate rides had been provided on the Ruston shunter, this was the first instance of a passenger carrying 'train' with the black Ruston and brake van carrying over 1,000 paying passengers during the five day event.
